As a Specialist, Risk Control, you will develop standards, advise on property risks, and create tailored service plans. The role requires progressive property and casualty insurance experience, engineering knowledge, and capability reviewing technical risk reports. You will collaborate with underwriting, marketing, claims, and national loss prevention teams. Key Responsibilities:





Develop departmental risk control standards and guidelines Provide loss prevention consultations for farm-industry risks Create tailored risk control practices and service plans Review internal assessments and support service improvements Share industry knowledge through assessments and training Requirements:

At least 10 years’ progressive property and casualty insurance experience Strong property risk control experience in energy specialties Knowledge of fire codes, Factory Mutual data sheets, and modelling Experience reviewing third-party risk control and engineering reports Engineering degree or related sciences preferred; Skilled Engineer designation an asset Apply property risk control, engineering knowledge, and loss prevention experience to support Intact Financial’s national insurance teams.
