Validate Power BI reports, data accuracy, and interactive functionality in a provisionally hybrid senior QA assignment supporting a new data warehouse. Use SQL and Azure expertise.

The Senior Systems Testing and QA Specialist supports BI reporting and data migration for the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee. You will test Power BI reports for accuracy, functionality, performance, security, accessibility, and regression impacts. The assignment also requires test planning, detailed scenarios, source-data validation, and documentation of results. Robust SQL, Azure SQL Databases, Dataverse, Azure Cloud, and Power BI Online experience are mandatory. Work is scheduled for 7.25 hours per weekday, sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, excluding breaks, with provisional hybrid status.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop Power BI reporting test plans and scenarios




- Validate report data against source data
- Test filtering, drill-through, and parameterization features
- Assess performance, security, accessibility, and regression impacts
- Document test cases, results, and plan modifications

Requirements:

- Power BI Online QA experience or similar BI software
- Knowledge of Power BI data modeling and report development
- Familiarity with BI functionality, accuracy, performance, and security testing
- Experience with Azure SQL Databases and Dataverse
- Understanding of data warehousing or Azure Synapse Analytics
