JobSummary&KeyResponsibilities;:

- Providehigh-qualitycaretopatientsintheemergencydepartment,ensuringtimelydiagnosis,treatmentanddischarge(between40-60patientsper24-hourshift)
- Collaboratewithnurses,specialists,andotherhealthcareprofessionalstodelivercomprehensivepatientcare
- Maintainaccurateanddetailedpatientrecordsincompliancewithhospitalpoliciesandregulations
- ParticipateintheongoingprofessionaldevelopmentandtrainingofvisitingmedicalstudentsandresidentsoftheNorthernOntarioSchoolofMedicine(NOSM),McMaster,UniversityofOttawaetc.
- Supportin-patientunitovernight
- Physiciansself-scheduletheir12-hourshifts,coveringdays,nightsandweekends
