This Manager, Fund Taxation role supports tax operations and compliance across mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, mutual fund corporations, and segregated funds. You will coordinate distributions, prepare tax returns, maintain documentation, and support Canadian regulatory compliance. The position also involves collaboration with Legal, Product, Operations, and Client Services teams.

Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax distributions

Review year-end distributions and tax factors

Ensure CRA compliance and support audit engagements

Maintain fund tax controls and documentation

Five to seven years in fund taxation, accounting, or financial services

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Working knowledge of IFRS and fund accounting principles

Microsoft Excel, tax software, analytical, and communication skills

Apply fund taxation, Canadian reporting, and compliance expertise while supporting CI Financial’s investment product operations.
