Full-time Web Developer on the team that builds cohere.com, the public face of Cohere: work with a small team of engineers, designers and marketing partners to ship polished pages quickly, including growth-focused UI, content-driven pages and the CMS systems behind them. js, TypeScript, Tailwind and Sanity, and AI coding tools are used every day with the developer owning what they merge. The role asks for two or more years shipping production React and TypeScript apps. Build and iterate on growth-focused UI: styling, layout and content-driven pages
Work with content editors so publishing is faster and less painful, with better workflows, clearer schemas and fewer gotchas
Ship experiments and marketing features that help people discover and try Cohere
js, TypeScript and Tailwind, including the Sanity schemas that power the site
Improve performance and reliability where it actually moves the needle, not chase tech for its own sake
Use AI coding tools every day, while owning what you merge: debug, explain and stand behind the code
Two or more years shipping production React and TypeScript apps, caring about polish and performance
js and a headless CMS like Sanity, or ready to ramp up quickly
Excited to try current tools when they help, and skip them when they do not
Remote role, with listed locations across Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and Canada
Full-time role; remote does not mean worldwide eligibility, check the original page for residency and work authorization requirements
Eye for design or motion, with a portfolio, GitHub, or shipped marketing work
Weekly lunch stipend of seventy-five dollars or pounds, or equivalent in local currency
Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health
Retirement matching plans
Full parental leave top-up
This is the public face of the company, not an internal tool: page quality directly represents the brand
The core tension is speed versus polish: shipping fast with marketing while keeping pages refined and performant
AI coding tools are daily tools, not an excuse: whoever merges code must be able to explain it
Prepare production React and TypeScript work that shows polish and performance trade-offs you made
js and headless CMS example showing how your schema design made editors work easier
Prepare a real example where an AI coding tool sped you up but you debugged and owned the merged code
