Calgary-based Heavy Duty Mechanic with diesel diagnostics and fleet repair expertise supports KLS Earthworks & Environmental’s on-road construction vehicles.

This experienced mechanic maintains commercial fleet vehicles across excavation, earthworks, and environmental construction operations. The work covers engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, trailers, and related equipment. The position contributes to safe, efficient fleet performance through maintenance, inspections, repairs, and field support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and driveline components
- Service air brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, greasing, and fluid changes




- Perform CVIP inspections and verify transportation regulatory compliance
- Respond to breakdowns and provide field service support

Requirements:

- Proven heavy-duty mechanic experience; dealership experience preferred
- Broad mechanical knowledge, including Packers, Pavers, and Rollers
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scanners, and alignment equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical components
- Ability to lift heavily and work outdoors in wide-ranging weather
