Support resident comfort as a Health Care Aide at AgeCare Shawnee in Calgary, using safe personal care and transfer assistance. This regular part time role is 0.70 FTE.

Working under a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will collaborate with the care team to provide thorough basic care and services. Duties include bathing, feeding, transfers, routine treatments, and resident transportation. You will follow care plans, water temperature procedures, and required controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bath, shower, and wash residents following care procedures
- Assist transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
- Feed residents according to their care-plan diets
- Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction




- Accompany residents to meals, therapy, and recreation

Requirements:

- Recognized Personal Care Aide or equivalent education certificate
- Active College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides registration
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- One year continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education is an asset
