Lead ENG373H5S Creative Writing: Poetry at UTM, combining university instruction with a significant record of creative writing publication. Classes meet Tuesdays from 1–3.

The University of Toronto Mississauga seeks a Sessional Lecturer for a January 1 to April 30, 2027 appointment. You will teach a course centered on experiments with poetic expression and poetic forms. The section has an estimated enrolment of 25 students and no estimated TA hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and teach a university credit course
- Prepare and deliver poetic expression course content
- Develop and mark student assignments, tests, and exams
- Submit calculated course grades
- Maintain regular student office hours

Requirements:

- MFA in creative writing
- University-level creative writing teaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to teach creative writing
- Significant publication record as a creative writer

Use creative writing scholarship, publication experience, and teaching ability to guide poetry students at the University of Toronto Mississauga.
