Deliver person-centred acute care nursing using assessment and evidence-based interventions within the Registered Practical Nurse scope of practice.

This Registered Practical Nurse provides culture-sensitive care for patients with varying health needs. The position works independently and collaboratively within an interprofessional team. Registered Practical Nurses consult with Registered Nurses when patients have complex issues and less predictable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify patient and family care needs
- Complete assessments and continuously reassess care
- Plan and implement evidence-based interventions
- Evaluate patient outcomes and experiences
- Support quality improvement and reflective practice

Requirements:

- Current unrestricted Ontario registration in positive standing
- Current Heart and Stroke Foundation CPR
- Registered Practical Nurse diploma preferred
- Acute care nursing experience preferred
- Critical-thinking and decision-making skills
