The work includes patient rooms, common areas, mobility devices, bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, and hospital equipment. You will also handle floor maintenance, deep cleaning, carpet care, linens, waste, and recycling while respecting patient dignity and individuality. Availability for changing shifts is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform housekeeping and assigned custodial duties throughout facility areas
- Wash and make beds and transport clean or soiled linens
- Refinish wall surfaces and hang drapes or curtains
- Operate equipment for cleaning floors, carpets, rooms, and furnishings
- Report abnormal supply use to the supervisor
Requirements:
- Secondary School Diploma
- Positive English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
- Self-motivated approach with minimal supervision
- Availability for days, evenings, nights, and weekends
