The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC's Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and Mc Cowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.What You Will DoInteracting with design groups to ensure coordination between the relevant subway systemsCoordinating and attending meetings; taking and distributingmeeting minutes with accuracyCreating presentations to support the collaborative effort of the design teamsInteracting with stakeholders in person and onlineDeveloping a working understanding of systems that are required for subway operationsConduct reviews of design documents and supplier provided OEM manuals to develop standard O&M procedures with collaboration with all stakeholdersSupport the development of standard maintenance and operating procedures for subway systemsExperience You Will BringDiploma in electrical or civil engineering or similar program.A proactive,



organized and goal-oriented approach with robust communication and coordination skills with excellent use of Microsoft office products2-3+ years of experience in rail and transit projectsStrong technical background in report writing and documentationUnderstanding of subway systems and multidisciplinary system interfacesExperience with handover and project closeout is a significant assetAn understanding of operational readiness and O&M requirementsWhy Join Us?Compensation: $105,000 - $115,000 annually.
