Candidates should interpret drawings, understand welding procedures, and weld independently with minimum supervision. The work includes structural steel welding in all positions and qualification for required CWB tickets. Night shift work may be required. A Journeyperson Welder Certificate is an asset, while safety procedures remain essential in this safety-sensitive, labour-intensive environment.
