Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services’ recent remote lodge near Chapleau, Ontario. Support general cleaning across lodge facilities.
As a Janitor, you will help keep the lodge clean, sanitized, safe, and ready for guests and clients. Daily work includes cleaning floors, entrances, hallways, washrooms, recreation rooms, offices, boot rooms, and utility rooms. You will also manage supplies, follow WHMIS and HSE guidelines, and support emergency procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all lodge facility areas
- Disinfect garbage cans and remove waste appropriately
- Monitor inventory and distribute cleaning supplies
- Store chemicals safely under WHMIS and HSE guidelines
- Attend safety meetings and emergency response procedures
Requirements:
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures
- Friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor
- Adaptability to guests’ needs
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, walk, and stand
