This Switcher assignment covers trailer movement to and from doors and throughout the yard. It may include package handler duties involving delivery vehicles, trailers, conveyor carts, and load gratings. The work requires scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers, memorizing information, and sorting accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Move trailers throughout the yard and door areas
- Load packages onto delivery vehicles and trailers
- Unload packages from vehicles, trailers, and carts
- Scan packages and determine conveyor systems
- Sort packages according to verified information

Requirements:

- High school diploma or educational equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required for driving duties
- Good driving record required
- Six months of package handler experience preferred
- Quebec applicants must speak French and English
