Load, unload, and sort packages by hand while supporting safe, efficient movement through FedEx operations. Monday-to-Friday shifts are available.

This Package Handler assignment centers on physical package movement across delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor carts, and load gratings. You will repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull packages for approximately three to five hours per shift, with potential for additional shifts daily. Accurate scanning, label reading, chart verification, and package sorting are essential. You may rotate among Loader, Unloader, Palletizer, Facer, Switcher, Scan Weigh and Key, and Quality Assurance assignments. General Package Handler positions require no prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sort packages according to scanned conveyor system information
- Move packages between trailers, pallets, vehicles, and conveyors




- Apply hand-to-surface methods during all package handling
- Rotate through assigned operational areas and positions
- Maintain safe, productive package movement throughout the operation

Requirements:

- Ability to understand instructions concerning duties and safety
- Ability to read labels, charts, numbers, and package information
- Ability to use basic package-handling tools and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and noisy conditions

Support FedEx package flow through dependable lifting, sorting, scanning, and equipment use in assigned operational areas.
