Emergency Medicine Physicians are sought at Saanich Peninsula Hospital, using broad emergency care experience in a community hospital setting. Pediatric and adult patient care spans scheduled coverage and crisis call-in needs. This permanent specialty prospect serves a 16-bed emergency department within a 65-bed acute care community hospital. The department cares for 36,000 patients annually and supports approximately 87,000 people, including Southern Gulf Islands referrals. Teaching opportunities are available through the University of British Columbia’s Island Medical Program. Key Responsibilities:
