Support municipal safety with patrol expertise, incident reporting, and de-escalation skills in Oshawa. This full time Allied Universal assignment includes permanent days or nights on a continental schedule.

The Mobile Security Guard protects city-owned properties while assisting municipal staff, volunteers, visitors, and the public. Daily duties include patrols, safety monitoring, emergency response, complaint investigation, and applying relevant legislation. Professional communication and sound judgment are central to the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide protective services to municipal staff, volunteers, and the public
- Maintain visible security presence across public spaces and facilities
- Investigate complaints and property-related incidents




- Apply the Trespass to Property Act when appropriate
- Operate company vehicles safely during assigned patrols

Requirements:

- One to two years of security experience, preferably mobile patrol
- Knowledge of Canada’s Criminal Code and Ontario trespass legislation
- Understanding of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
- Ability to de-escalate situations and remain calm
- Successful completion of a background check
