Sodexo seeks a General Helper for a correctional facility client site launching in October 2026. The position supports protected, efficient, orderly operations through housekeeping, meal service, laundry, and inventory movement. Work occurs under supervision while institutional policies, health and safety standards, and security protocols guide daily duties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean kitchens, dining areas, laundry facilities, and common spaces
- Set up meal areas, transport supplies, and portion food items
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens
- Transport materials, equipment, supplies,



and inventory throughout facilities
- Maintain sanitation, equipment accountability, and security compliance

Requirements:

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- WHMIS certification or ability to obtain certification
- Relevant housekeeping, food service, laundry, custodial, or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and team-first attitude
- Eligibility for required security clearance and background screening
