Support outbound shipping at The North West Company in Winnipeg, using order processing, handheld computers, and careful dock operations.

As Warehouse Personnel on the days outbound dock team, you will support distribution center operations. Your work helps move merchandise to stores through loading, unloading, sorting, shipping, receiving, and order processing. This is a part time term assignment lasting up to four months.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Outbound Manager with traffic flow of goods
- Unload and load trailers for outbound shipping operations
- Strap and sort cartons for shipment processing
- Process merchandise to proper shipping locations
- Operate handheld computers and maintain workplace safety

Requirements:

- Previous warehouse shipping or receiving experience preferred
- Forklift or material handling experience is an asset
- Ability to obtain required equipment certification
- Knowledge of airport or airplane loading procedures
- Attention to detail, prioritization, and seasonal temperature flexibility
