Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Power Apps Developer (10+ years) to provide technical support and develop small features using Microsoft Power Platform

Join a high-impact public sector initiative supporting a production Power Apps solution that tracks critical information for species across Canada. This role focuses on technical support, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Power Platform components, and delivery of small features within the existing solution. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to sustain and enhance the application while following departmental standards. The environment leverages DevOps and Agile development within an enterprise application context.

Contract, Remote -Work to be carried out Pacific time zones

Must Haves

- 10+ years in the Government of Canada (GoC)
- Microsoft Power Platform configuration, including Power Apps and Power Automate
- Configuration and maintenance of Power Platform environments, applications, workflows, connections, and related components
- Web services migrations
- DevOps and Agile development in an enterprise application environment

Nice to Have

- Experience with Power Pages
- Experience with Power Portal
- Experience working with JSON files and scripting
- Experience with ETL data pipelines
- Experience with Power Platform solution management, deployment, setting configuration, and application lifecycle management

Responsibilities

- Perform technical analysis of business problems
- Propose technical designs while adhering to industry standards and best practices
- Develop application code and components for custom software solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
- Configure and maintain Power Platform environments, applications, workflows, connections, and related components
- Document application code, APIs, interfaces, support procedures, technical designs, and configuration changes
- Resolve software defects and production issues
