Bring building-trade expertise to Gateway as a casual Maintenance Technician supporting Casino repairs, inspections, and grounds maintenance. Flexible schedule and emergency availability are required.

This Maintenance Technician role supports Gateway's general maintenance needs across Casino facilities, equipment, and grounds. The work draws on carpentry, finishing, minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, tiling, and other associated trades. It also includes safety compliance, preventative maintenance practices, and assistance with the Building Automated System.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform inspections and maintenance throughout Casino operational areas
- Assist with Building Automated System operations as directed
- Repair and troubleshoot facility plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues
- Follow WorkSafe safety standards, equipment,



and clothing requirements
- Support equipment purchasing, inventory, budgets, and cost-saving measures

Requirements:

- At least two years' Hotel, Casino, or hospitality maintenance experience
- Extensive knowledge of associated building trades and repair work
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hours and remain on call
- Valid provincial driver's license and good driving record

Use broad trade knowledge, safety awareness, and responsive troubleshooting skills to maintain Gateway's Casino facilities and grounds.
