Support transformer production at Hammond Power Solutions in Walkerton by handling materials, inventory, receiving, and shipping activities. Use FIFO practices throughout.

As a Material Handler, you will supply transformer coils and materials to control, distribution, reactor, and potted assembly departments. The work includes receiving, kitting transfers, inventory counts, inspections, unloading, labeling, and put-away. You may also back up shipping during vacations and absenteeism.

Key Responsibilities:

- Move received goods to final inventory locations following FIFO
- Transfer materials to kitting and manufacturing areas
- Inspect, unload, label, and put away incoming materials
- Perform cycle counts and assist annual inventory analysis
- Prepare, package, document, and load outbound shipments

Requirements:

- High School Grade 12 education
- One to two years manufacturing experience
- Shipping, receiving, or material handling experience
- Metric and imperial measurement knowledge
- Hoist and forklift training or certificates
