Deliver resident care at AgeCare Shawnee in Calgary as a Health Care Aide using safe transfers and personal care skills.

This regular part-time Health Care Aide works at 0.80 FTE as part of the care team. Under Licensed Practical Nurse supervision, you will provide basic care and services. Your work includes resident hygiene, mobility support, feeding, treatments, and facility activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bath, shower, and wash residents using temperature controls
- Transfer residents using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and belts
- Assist feeding according to each resident’s care plan
- Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Accompany residents to dining, therapy, and recreation activities

Requirements:

- Recognized PCA or HCA certificate course completion
- Active CLHA registration in Alberta
- Fluent written and spoken English
- One year of continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education is an asset
