Southern Health-Santé Sud seeks a temporary Health Care Aide for Nursing/Long Term Care. Under nursing team leaders, you will support residents and patients with activities of daily living identified in care plans. The position requires communication, workload organization, confidentiality, and culturally respectful service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support residents and patients with identified activities of daily living
- Follow care plans and established standards of practice
- Work under Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse leadership
- Determine priorities and methods for assigned work




- Maintain competency through education and certifications

Requirements:

- Grade 12 and recognized Health Care Aide Certificate
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Acute Care
- One to two years’ health care experience preferred
- Experience caring for elderly or disabled clients preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and protect confidentiality
