Support hydropower innovation from ANDRITZ Canada’s Peterborough center through technical drawings, parts lists, and generator component design. Hybrid work mode is available.

This permanent Designer position belongs to the Engineering team and serves large hydro generator projects. You will work with local drafting and engineering teams, specialists, project management, manufacturing, and installation teams. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Detail mechanical components within hydro generators
- Develop models and drawings meeting project specifications
- Use layouts, schematics, standards, sketches, and instructions
- Check parts bills against technical requirements
- Direct or assist others on specific projects

Requirements:

- Mechanical Technician diploma or equivalent qualification
- Experience with 3D CAD software required
- Unigraphics experience preferred for this position
- Ability to work independently and within teams
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
