The Research Assistant III supports the CREAMS Research Lab study through participant recruitment, literature reviews, and qualitative or quantitative analysis. The position examines academic adjustment, culturally responsive teaching, self-regulated learning, institutional support, motivation, engagement, and belonging. You will contribute independently and collaboratively across project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit participants and collect survey, interview, and focus group data
• Conduct thematic, correlation, regression,
  
  
  
  and exploratory factor analyses
• Review literature and prepare academic research summaries and reports
• Analyze lesson plans and instructional materials within the study framework
• Document meetings, professional development, classroom implementation, and observations

Requirements:

• Enrollment or completion in a related undergraduate or graduate degree
• Previous academic research assistance experience with surveys and interviews
• Knowledge of international students’ Canadian higher education experiences
• Experience with culturally diverse or international student communities
• Familiarity with NVivo, ATLAS.ti, SPSS, or R
