This Laboratory Demonstrator supports CHM243H5S Introductory Organic Chemistry II during the January 2027 to April 2027 appointment. The course covers benzene, carbonyl compounds, amines, organic mechanisms, and applications of organic reactions to multistep synthesis. Duties support consistent course delivery within UofT standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate laboratory content for undergraduate chemistry students
- Mark laboratory reports
- Mark quizzes and assignments
- Invigilate term tests and final examinations as required

Requirements:

- Master of Science in Chemistry and/or Biochemistry
- Sound knowledge of course content
- Good communication skills
- Previous undergraduate chemistry laboratory teaching assistant experience is an asset
