You will own the full recruiting cycle for engineering and AI roles, from sourcing and outreach through interviewing, closing, and onboarding handoff. Great engineers and AI talent have many options, so this role is about more than filling seats. You will find exceptional people before they are on the market, tell a compelling story about what we are building, and run a hiring process that is fast, rigorous, and a great experience for candidates. You will report directly to the CEO and CTO in a cross-functional capacity, partnering closely with leadership and hiring managers to define what great looks like for each role and help shape how Fiscal.Ai hires as we scale. This role is based in our Toronto office.Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end recruiting process for engineering, AI, machine learning,



and data rolesProactively source top technical talent through Linked In, Git Hub, referrals, communities, events, and your own networkWrite compelling outreach and job descriptions that clearly communicate Fiscal.Ai's mission and technical challengesConduct initial screens to assess technical background, motivation, and fitPartner with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview plans, and evaluation criteriaCoordinate and run interview loops, gather feedback, and drive timely hiring decisionsManage offers and closing conversations, including compensation and equity discussionsDeliver an excellent candidate experience at every stage of the processMaintain accurate pipeline data in our applicant tracking system and report on recruiting metricsBuild long-term talent pipelines and employer brand within the engineering and AI communities Requirements 3+ years of technical recruiting experience, either in-house or at an agencyA proven track record of sourcing and hiring software engineers and technical talentStrong sourcing skills, with comfort reaching passive candidates who are not actively lookingEnough technical fluency to understand engineering and AI roles and hold credible conversations with candidatesExperience managing multiple searches at once while maintaining speed and quality Excellent communication, organization, and follow-throughStrong judgment in assessing candidates and a high bar for talentAbility to work from our Toronto office Nice to Haves Experience recruiting AI, machine learning, or research talentExperience recruiting for a startup or high-growth companyExperience recruiting in fintech, financial data, or capital marketsAn established network in the Toronto or New York engineering and AI communitiesExperience with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or Linked In RecruiterExperience helping build recruiting processes, interview frameworks, or employer brand from the ground up Compensation $80,000 to $130,000 base salary, based on experienceEquityPaid time offBenefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
