We are seeking an experienced Director, Product Software Architecture and Engineering to build and lead a current dev-ops team offering an AI and container management service for Equinix Managed Solutions. Duties include: Partner with product management to define requirements, service level objectives, and operational goals for the service; Integrate the service with global ordering and back-office systems to provide self-service; Work closely with EMS operations, EMS fulfillment, and Equinix network architecture to ensure the service design is compatible and well-integrated with existing infrastructure; Operate the service at an enterprise availability level as it scales outService Strategy & Platform LeadershipDefine and execute the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for Equinix’s AI and Container Management ServicePartner with Product Management to translate customer needs and market opportunities into platform capabilitiesEstablish Service Level Objectives (SLOs), operational standards, and platform governanceDrive adoption of cloud-native best practices across engineering and operations teamsArchitecture & EngineeringLead architecture and design decisions and Dev Ops processes for Kubernetes/Open Shift-based managed servicesEnsure platform scalability, resiliency, security, and operational readinessDrive automation across provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle managementPartner with network, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless integration with Equinix’s global platformSystem OptimizationDrives and manages change across the organization by implementing improvements to internal processes and systemsProactively identifies gaps,
