Theorganization is seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst II to support,maintain, enhance, and optimize the Client Service Delivery System (CSDS), acase management application used to capture and manage client information forMental Health and Addiction Services, as well as Public Health staff.

Theselected candidate will augment the existing technical support team andcontribute to both ongoing application maintenance and project-based developmentinitiatives.

Therole involves application production support, database programming, reporting,troubleshooting, application enhancements, security improvements, andimplementation of technical solutions to meet evolving business requirements.

Responsibilities

- Provideapplication maintenance, technical support, and production support for theCSDS application.

- Investigate,troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents, errors, and technicalissues.

- Create,maintain, and enhance Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)reports.

- InvestigateSSRS production issues, respond to service requests, and clarify reportfunctionality.

- Develop,maintain, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures.

- Implement newapplication features and enhancements based on business requirements.

- Reprogram andoptimize application components to improve efficiency, performance, andsecurity.

- Develop andexecute data conversion scripts to support current application functionality.





- Providetechnical support to business teams during training and User AcceptanceTesting (UAT).

- Develop,maintain, and update technical documentation, standards, procedures, andspecifications.

- Develop, test,document, and implement technical solutions.

- Participate inapplication release activities and deployment-related tasks.

- Completeassigned service requests, incidents, problems, maintenance, anddevelopment activities.

- Participate inincident and problem management and support resolution activities.

- Provideoperational support as part of the team rotation, including on-callsupport when required.

- Participate inteam scrums and maintain team knowledge repositories and documentation.

- Perform otherrelated duties as assigned.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

- Universitydegree in Computer Science or a similar discipline is preferred; anequivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Minimum 15years of demonstrated IM/IT experience.

- Minimum 10years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Programmer Analyst, includingprogramming and analysis.

- Excellentverbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred / Scored Technical Experience

- Experienceworking with provincial healthcare and/or Regional Health Authorityapplications.

- Strongexperience developing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementingtechnical solutions to meet business requirements.

- Extensiveexperience with Oracle and SQL Server database systems.

- Extensiveexperience maintaining and creating PL/SQL stored procedures.

- Experiencewith Java.

- Experiencewith Linux Batch Jobs.

- Experiencewith SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

- Experiencewith Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

- Experiencewith version control software.
