TFI Canada is hiring a full time, permanent Commercial Appliance Technician for afternoon service calls across the GTA. You will repair electric cooking equipment, microwaves, steam tables, holding cabinets, and countertop appliances. The work requires schematics, meters, service manuals, and clear customer communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair 120V, 208V, and 240V equipment faults
- Use wiring diagrams, manuals, parts breakdowns, and technical support
- Complete first-visit repairs and order required parts
- Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and lockout/tagout
- Document calls, repairs, parts, and photos digitally
Requirements:
- Two-plus years servicing commercial cooking or appliance equipment
- Read schematics and use multimeters and clamp meters confidently
- Hold a valid Ontario G license with clean driving record
- Communicate professionally with customers on site
- Lift up to 50 pounds and work in kitchens
