As a Switchperson, you provide safe, effective rail car switching services in customer-oriented environments. You operate switches and derails, couple and uncouple rail cars, manage air hoses, and apply handbrakes. Teamwork, initiative, organization, and customer service support efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct clear job briefings and protect trains, tracks, and equipment
- Apply CROR Non-Main Track rules and switching procedures
- Inspect locomotive brakes and safety devices daily
- Complete reports, logs, and required documentation
- Report safety, equipment, and track problems promptly

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or GED
- Teamwork, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read safety and operating documentation
- Physical ability to handle railcar equipment continuously
- Availability for up to 12-hour day or night shifts
