You work with production teams, programmers, and external partners across CBC departments, regions, and media lines. Your work spans negotiation, licensing, rights administration, training, and business guidance. You support news suppliers, photo suppliers, podcast producers, and other in-house content.Key Responsibilities:



Negotiate and draft content licensing agreementsSecure CBC contractual requirements and business interestsReview third-party agreements and rights obligationsDesign and deliver copyright and deal-term trainingAuthorize contract payments where requiredRequirements: Minimum five years drafting and negotiating major contractsAt least five years business or operational experienceKnowledge of media, unions, and negotiating techniquesStrong analytical, communication, and computer skillsAbility to manage priorities and work independentlyBring rights strategy, licensing, negotiation, and analytical judgment to CBC’s in-house programming and English Services.#J-18808-Ljbffr
