Weir is seeking a Hose Builder Apprentice to support manufacturing for mining and oil sands customers. You will learn alongside experienced Hose Builders through extensive one-on-one training and mentorship. The work includes machinery operation, material handling, assembly, and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist experienced builders manufacturing custom industrial hoses
- Operate hose-building machinery, tooling, forklifts, and overhead cranes
- Handle materials according to engineering requirements
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Follow drawings, maintain quality, and meet production requirements

Requirements:

- Interest in hands-on manufacturing work
- Robust work ethic and willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude and effective communication
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work rotating shifts after training
