Build embedded development skills onsite in Calgary as a Sales Engineering Intern working with C/C++, Python, sensors, and customer projects.

Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division seeks an intern for its Business Development Technology Integration team, starting May 2027. You will collaborate with software, systems, and integration experts on embedded software, GNSS and sensor technologies, prototypes, demonstrations, and trials. The work spans hardware, software, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support sensor bring-up, driver integration, firmware debugging, and software development
- Test embedded configurations in laboratory and field environments
- Integrate radar, lidar, cameras, GNSS/INS, CAN, and ROS
- Troubleshoot communication issues and reproduce customer-reported problems
- Document processes,



configurations, lessons learned, and technical procedures

Requirements:

- Engineering internship or co-op student after second or third year
- Electrical, Geomatics, Computer, Mechatronics, or related engineering studies
- Minimum 12-month, 37.5-hour weekly term onsite in Calgary
- C/C++ and/or Python experience through coursework or personal projects
- Comfort with lab work, hand tools, fabrication, and technical documentation

Develop embedded software and sensor integration experience while supporting Hexagon customer demonstrations and technical investigations onsite.
