Support resident dignity and daily living as a Health Care Aide with Optima Living, working under Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse leadership.

This Health Care Aide provides person-centered care across physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and cultural needs. You will support activities of daily living, medication administration, mobility, nutrition, and recreation. The position follows established policies, industry best practices, regulations, and care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Document observations, interventions, and changes accurately
- Administer medications and provide approved medication reminders
- Support nutrition, hydration, dining, and recreational participation




- Respond promptly to call bells, requests, and emergency codes

Requirements:

- Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program
- Current registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
- Active CPR and First Aid certification
- Medication Administration course, exam, and annual recertification
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
