Challenger Geomatics Ltd seeks an intermediate land surveying Survey Assistant for local and out-of-town projects. You will support the Party Chief with legal and construction surveys, measurements, field notes, and documentation. The work includes regular travel, with assignments lasting two to three weeks in hotels or camp accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate GPS, total stations, locators, and equipment
- Perform legal and construction surveys under Party Chief direction
- Assist with field notes, measurements, and required documentation




- Communicate effectively with client representatives and colleagues
- Keep survey equipment and work trucks clean and organized

Requirements:

- Related experience preferred, but not essential
- Geomatics diploma or degree considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Remote location experience considered an asset
- Pass Fit for Duty, Drug and Alcohol testing

Support Challenger Geomatics field teams through protected equipment operation, accurate measurements, documentation, and travel across Western Canada.
