Reporting to the Culinary Manager, the Dishwasher loads, operates, and empties dishwashers while maintaining kitchen equipment and surfaces. The work supports senior living environments serving independent living, assisted living, and memory care residents. Responsibilities include cleaning cooking areas, floors, equipment, and food storage spaces. The role also includes respecting Resident Rights and Responsibilities, attending required training and meetings, and participating in quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load, operate, empty, and unload dishwashers
- Maintain clean cooking areas and work surfaces




- Damp mop kitchen floors
- Clean blenders, refrigerators, and other kitchen equipment
- Attend required training, meetings, and quality improvement activities

Requirements:

- Empathy for elderly and handicapped residents
- Understanding of food handling and storage procedures
- Ability to follow food service directions and portion control
- Ability to work accurately and quickly
- Ability to read and write English
