The Meat Manager oversees staff development, customer offerings, inventory, labour costs, and product presentation. This retail leadership role includes direct-report management, financial analysis, regulatory adherence, and store operations. You will support food safety, communicate requirements, and maintain company standards while responding to product changes, promotions, and seasonal trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach, train, and develop department employees
Manage budgets, labour costs, inventory, and merchandising
Order, receive, rotate, and present meat products
Maintain food safety and regulatory procedures
Coordinate equipment maintenance and required repairs
Requirements:
Minimum 18 months of retail store experience
Meat experience preferred
High School Diploma
Experience analyzing financial reports and managing budgets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
