### Who you are
- Our ideal candidate is a seasoned full stack engineer with deep experience in building reliable, delightful customer experiences, and a passion for creating products that make life easier
- You know how to design and maintain robust APIs, integrate with third parties, streamline a customer workflow, and track down a pernicious bug
- We're looking for someone who loves finding simple, straightforward technical solutions to complex problems
- Experience with our stack (Ruby on Rails, Typescript, React/React Native) is important, and our bottom-line requirements are simple: a strong engineering foundation, a desire to meaningfully improve core systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers

- You’re excited to be part of a self-motivated and capable team that prides itself on having a massive impact per employee
- You have a track record of implementing, testing, and maintaining reliable backend services, as well as owning projects end to end

- You’re passionate about improving the customer experience in ways big and small, whether that’s by fixing a bug or overhauling an entire flow
- You’re a first-rate communicator in both code and human language, contributing to deep technical discussions across team and tech stack boundaries
- You work closely with non-technical stakeholders to design and build features that make customers’ eyes light up and keep our bootstrapped business humming
- You’re outstanding at figuring out how systems can work better and love having the autonomy to leave things better than you found them ### What the job involves
