At Prestige Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine, we strive for rehabilitation excellence and we are looking for a Chiropractor to join our team! This is a part time position with the potential to become a full time position.
Our clinics are based out of Abbotsford BC. This position is perfect for a Chiropractor who is looking to begin or grow their career. This position will be at our South Fraser Way clinic.
Job Responsibilities:
· Work alongside Physiotherapists, RMTs, and Kinesiologists in a Multidisciplinary Clinic.
· Assessment and treatment of patients.
· Ability to treat a wide range of patients from high intensity athletes to general public.
· Excellent patient care, interpersonal communication.
Consulting with the patient about their medical history and the reason for their visit
Creating a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeing
Assessing the patient’s spine, posture and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatment
Performing neuromusculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patient’s spine and other joints
Providing supplemental treatments, such as massage and acupuncture to the injured area
Giving advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise and diet to improve patients physical health
Requirements:
Experience:
New Grads Welcome but 1 year preferred.
License/Certification:
Doctorate
Registration with College of Chiropractors CCBC
Excellent knowledge of English language, both written and communication skills.
