We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Assistant Baker to join our team and help prepare fresh baked goods for our café!

Responsibilities including but are not limited to
Preparing and baking fresh pastries, muffins, cookies, and other baked goods for the café.
Following recipes and ensuring consistency and quality.
Preparing ingredients and organizing daily baking prep.
Washing dishes, baking trays, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
Maintaining a clean and organized baking area.
Following food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitoring ingredients and communicating when supplies need to be replenished.
Ensuring baked goods are prepared and ready for café service.




Working collaboratively with the café team to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Following instructions and direction from the Lead Baker and management team.

Qualifications:
Previous baking experience is required.
A valid FoodSafe certificate is required.
Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday, with occasional additional shifts throughout the week.
Additional hours will be available throughout November, with approximately 20 hours per week thereafter.
Must be comfortable working early morning shifts.
A genuine interest in baking and food preparation.
Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
Positive time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
