Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support the cooking team
Cook and serve meals according to established recipes and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and hygiene procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
Support serving staff by preparing plates and ensuring timely delivery of meals to customers or dining areas
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying supervisors when replenishment is needed




Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards within the food industry
Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food presentation
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy periods
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
