Lead Policy Administration System architecture at Intact through hybrid work, using Java, Angular, cloud platforms, and up-to-date engineering practices. This Principal Software Engineering role owns technical strategy, architecture, and delivery for Personal Lines’ mission-critical PAS. You will modernize a substantial Java platform, integrate Angular and enterprise systems, and create a credible path away from legacy. The mandate includes AI integration, data governance, security, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Own target architecture and technical roadmap for scalable PAS modernization
Integrate enterprise systems through APIs, microservices, and CI/CD
Establish automated testing and high-quality deployment practices
Define reliability, performance, user satisfaction, and delivery metrics




Advise executives and negotiate priorities with business partners

Requirements:
15+ years in software engineering and enterprise architecture
Experience modernizing mission-critical PAS or comparable systems
Deep expertise in system design, integration, and data governance
Proficiency in Java, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Canadian work eligibility required Bring principal-level architecture leadership, Java expertise, and modernization judgment to Intact’s Personal Lines PAS transformation.
