Lead Canadian corporate governance research at Glass Lewis from downtown Toronto, using strategic leadership and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid schedule. The Director of Research leads the Canadian research team and translates strategic priorities into research, policy, engagement, and business activities. This full time position oversees high-profile analysis, communicates company policies, and represents the Canadian market to clients and issuers. Research Leads and Managers may report directly to this role.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Canadian research team
Review and publish high-profile or contentious Proxy Papers
Lead Canadian policy updates and proxy season reviews
Oversee client engagement, escalations, and strategic presentations




Inform senior management about Canadian market insights

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and seven years’ relevant experience
At least two years in a senior position
Excellent English communication and sophisticated research editing skills
Broad knowledge of governance principles and regulatory frameworks
Experience engaging issuers, investors, and institutions Bring corporate governance expertise, mentoring, sound judgment, and relationship-building skills to Glass Lewis’s Canadian research leadership.
