Duties
Operate excavators safely and efficiently to dig trenches, foundations, and holes according to project specifications
Assist with loading and unloading materials using excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
Collaborate with team members to coordinate site activities and maintain smooth workflow
Support other heavy equipment operations such as dozers, backhoes, graders, and pavers as needed
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and site safety procedures
Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and maintenance needs
Skills
Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment with a solid understanding of heavy machinery functions
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment
Ability to operate related machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and pavers effectively
Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and other specialized construction methods is a plus
Solid understanding of construction safety standards and protocols
Excellent communication skills for teamwork and on-site coordination

Pay: $25.27-$42.67 per hour
