Job description:
Overall maintenance and upgrades of our Inn in a historic building at 791 Pandora Avenue.
Working with a junior maintenance person.
Coordinating directly with the owner.
Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance, as well as improvements and minor renovations.
Building or modifying our custom furniture and fixtures.
All types of work that are required for an older building, such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.
Problem solving and learning recent skills when applicable.
Keeping outside trades to a minimum and overseeing them as needed.
Sourcing and purchasing of equipment, parts, materials, and consumables as they pertain to building maintenance.
Responding to maintenance requests for items needing assessment and/or repair.
Some heavy lifting and physical work.
Maintaining regular inspection of fire safety systems and coordinating annual inspections.
On call after-hour building emergencies (these are extremely rare).

Job Types: Full time, Part-time

Pay: $34.00-$42.00 per hour
