Overview

The Pizza Cook prepares and cooks pizzas and related meals in a restaurant kitchen, supporting smooth food service from preparation through serving. This hands-on role calls for care with ingredients, consistent cooking, and attention to food safety. Your work helps colleagues serve customers timely, well-prepared meals.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and complete food preparation and meal preparation for service.
Cook pizzas and other menu items according to established recipes and kitchen procedures.
Handle food safely, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow food safety practices.
Coordinate with kitchen and service colleagues to keep orders moving and assist with serving as needed.

Experience

Required: Practical cooking,



food preparation, meal preparation, and food handling capabilities, with attention to food safety and the ability to work effectively in a kitchen during service. Preferred: Food service experience, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or other experience in the food industry; familiarity with serving and coordinating orders is also helpful.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
