Support appealing resident meals at AgeCare as a casual Dietary Aide, using food service skills in a welcoming dining setting.
Reporting to the Director or Dietary Manager, you will support setup, preparation, serving, and cleanup for meal services. The position includes resident and guest service, dining table support, tray delivery, and kitchen cleanliness. You will also assist with catering, special occasions, employee orientation, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve meals professionally and courteously to residents and guests
- Prepare beverages, salads, desserts, and other service items
- Set and clear dining tables and deliver trays
- Clean dishware, cutlery, kitchen, and dining areas
- Support catering, special occasions, and employee training
Requirements:
- Required Food Handler's Certificate
- Food Service Worker Training Program enrollment or completion
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift hot, heavy items and stand or walk
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
