About the Role
We’re looking for a kind, reliable caregiver to support our 78-year-old family member with their evening and bedtime routine. They are independent and mobile, and simply need a helping hand in the evenings to stay comfortable and safe at home. Portuguese is first language, can understand english. Location is North Vancouver, central lonsdale- close to transit

Responsibilities
Assist with basic dressing and undressing
Provide shower assistance
Support the nighttime routine and help settle into bed
Offer friendly companionship and conversation

What We’re Looking For
Experience caring for seniors (formal or personal)
Patient, respectful, and dependable




Portuguese-speaking strongly preferred (European or Brazilian Portuguese both welcome)
Comfortable communicating in English
Available most or all evenings; flexibility appreciated

Nice to Have
First Aid / CPR certification
Care aide or health care assistant training
References from previous caregiving roles
